Interior Design Architect

The brief for this project was to design a retail shop with your own choice. This shop was located on Patrick street in Cork City. I choose the brand Vans and designed a space that suited the theme of the brand. I was inspired by the famous van's shoe. The rubber texture of the shoe's sole was used on the wall to the left of the entrance. There was an inverted skating ramp over the cash desk and staircase. This was inspired by the skating theme of the brand vans. This ramp curved on the first floor, just like the rubber wall illustrating the flexibility of the shoes produced by this company.
